Robert Whitaker's "Mad in America" a history of madness.

FAIL (the browser should render some flash content, not this).

Robert Whitaker's book traces the history of the methods used on the mentally ill over 200 years. The story is one of 'bad medicine following bad science'. Neighborhood Media's own Sharon Stentiford conducts the interview as Robert leads the viewer through a fascinating, though at times shameful history. The journey leads to the uncovering of techniques which may be much more effective. Enjoy the show.
