First Latino Humor Festival in Boston/Cambridge

Frequent BeLive: Vida Latina guest Mario Barros (a.k.a. Lenguaviva) and his friend Pepe Pelayo, two Cuban humorists in exile, will appear together at Schoenhof's Foreign Books on Wednesday, May 27, 6:00 pm as part of the Festival of El Bus de Lenguaviva, the Boston-based online humor magazine.

Lenguaviva is known in the Latino community for his performances, books, and radio show. He currently writes and edits El Bus de Lenguaviva online.

Pepe Pelayo is an outstanding humorist and writer who currently lives in Chile . Mr. Pelayo is the author of 29 humor books for children and adults. He has won several international awards, among them the Best Book Published in Chile Award (2008) and The White Ravens 2008( Germany ).

The presentation, which will be conducted mostly in Spanish, is free of charge and open to all.
