Michael Mack, actor and poet, reveals how to be honest even if we're habitual liars

Tell all the Truth
but tell it slant
success in circuit lies
too bright for our infirmed delight
the truth's superb surprise

shakespeare writes something like:

When my love swears she is made of truth
I do believe her tho I know she lies . . . .
so i lie with her and she with me
and in our faults, by lies we flattered be."

Michael Mack helps all of us find truth while we lie.

This isn't Micheal's mother and I have showed Michael before. Did I step out of line? I just wanted to let Michael that he doesn't let his guest speak out the way they want to speak. I said the truth and people take it the wrong way. I was just trying to help Michael ,that all. elizabethkanze@yahoo.com

Hey Michael Koran!! I just realized this is the same Michael Mack I saw perform an *awesome* one-man play in Harvard Square years ago. It's about his Mom, who has schizophrenia. Intense, but beautiful -- in places even funny. Called "Hearing Voices, Speaking in Tongues." FYI, Michael Mack's website...

Great episode of AHAH -- keep fighting the good fight!

Michael, don't tell your guest when to speak. You try to be kind but, you tell them what to say and how to say it.That is not being a good host. Just let your guests be who they are.
