BeLive: Bill Doncaster Discusses Lesley University's Plans

Lesley University spokesman Bill Doncaster talks with Karen Klinger about the school's plans to relocate the Art Institute of Boston (AIB) from its present location in Kenmore Square to Cambridge's Porter Square. He discusses the rezoning petition the university has filed with the city as a step toward development of the new AIB site, where the North Prospect Church is located (adjacent to the Porter Exchange/Sears Roebuck building), and mentions other property Lesley owns in the square.

Doncaster also "unveils" what's happening with the construction of two buildings at Massachusetts Avenue and Wendell Street, both of them future dormitories, which are currently shrouded in construction wrapping, piquing the curiosity of passersby. He also notes some of the benefits Lesley expects the community to draw from the presence of AIB.
