Be Live: A documentary short by Thorne Anderson

Screening at the CCTV studio on March 1st, 2009 at 7:00pm, with a discussion on documentary making with Thorne to follow. Hosted by the Project Documentary production group at CCTV, free and open to the public.

Film details:
The full film, 25 minutes in length, is a documentary profile of four main characters who each host their own once-weekly live television show on CCTV (public access cable television) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as part of CCTV's BeLive! program. The film captures the atmosphere of the television station while exploring the personal motivations of each of the characters and raising questions about the nature of detachment and connection between performer and audience. With music by Boston synth-pop sensations and Bandwidth contributors, Freezepop.
