Hello

Hi.

Some people around CCTV already know me, but by no means everybody. I've been around CCTV for four or five years, and like it says on the right, have been an intern, have been an MAC member, and am part of the YOU ARE HERE newsgroup.

This is just an introductory post but I will say the following two things. The newsgroup, which I am involved with, produces the half hour video news magazine YOU ARE HERE (see our website for lots more information) which appears on the station three times a week, and we are always looking for producers, so if you are interested in producing a community oriented news story on a particular topic, or in producing stories on an ongoing basis with a Cambridge connection, please let me or some other member of the group know. We'd welcome you as an one time or occasional contributor or as an ongoing member.

Secondly, topics I am particularly interested are privacy, free speech, copyright and fair use, and intellectual property rights, as all of these things have been and are being affected by modern technology, and on the political front, voting by proportional representation and viable third parties. So if you are interested in these particular topics, or especially if you have an idea for doing a show or story related to one of these topics, let me know as I may be interested.

Hi Buz,

It is very nice to meeting you and thank you for being the same class with me, I might have some interesting story that you may be interesting, I would talk to you later. Good luck!

Judy
