On the morning of May 24th, most Cambridge residents will steer clear of Harvard Yard. When Harvard University hosts its annual graduation ceremonies, families from all over the world gather in this tiny square of space to watch their children complete their education. Great joy for them, gridlock and locked gates for us.
It's just one day and we endure and keep our distance. Yet the excitement and hopefulness of the event pervades. it's fun to congratulate proud parents as they stop the locals to ask for directions.

Congratulations to the class of 2012!
