Are you a photographer, woodworker, videographer, jeweler, performer, painter, sculptor, graphic novelist, fabric artist or a creator in any medium? The Cambridge Arts Council invites all creative people living or working in Cambridge to register for 2013 Cambridge Open Studios, which will take place in May of 2013.
Come on, sign up; you know you’ve thought about sharing that/those amazing … you create. But you weren’t sure if you were a “real” artist. Cambridge is home to many creative and talented people in addition to myriad professional artists; whatever your talents, why not take advantage of this opportunity offered by our city?
According to Julie Barry, Community Arts Programs Director at the Cambridge Arts Council, "Cambridge Open Studios provides an opportunity for any creative person living or working in Cambridge to share their work with the community either in their studio or in shared venues across the City which will be secured by the Arts Council." So don't let a lack of studio prevent you from participating!
