I missed the first few minutes of this truck being stuck at the next intersection (Fifth and Sciarappa). I was talking to the mailman who was telling me about his own observations at these intersections. At one point duing this video shooting, I did see a Cambridge Cop drive by on a bike. It would be nice if these truck drivers would receive a violation. I always pay my parking tickets if I violate the time restriction outside a store. It would be nice if these well paid corporations would at least get their tickets.
The more serious thing to notice in this video is the car which was less than one inch from being damaged by a second truck which was driving to the recycling center in Somerville. The two trucks were rubbing against eachother as they drove by. There is no collection of recycling anywhere near my house today. I don't see why they should be cutting through a residential street which is marked no trucks. I should also mention that on Wednesday, a parked green car on Gore street was damaged by a passing truck.
