How to Post Multiple Photos to Your CCTV Blog
Step 1: Open an account at Flickr.com & upload some photos. Benefits include:
• Free photo hosting
• Auto photo resizing
• Easy photo sharing on CCTV blog
• Auto slideshow generation by tag (category), etc.
Step 2: Choose the photo on Flickr that you want displayed at the top of your blog post. Click on the photo and select “All Sizes”.
Step 3: Select the Medium (500 x 375) photo and click on “Download the Medium Size” & save to Desktop.
Step 4: Log in to cctvcambridge.org and Create New Blog Entry.
Step 5: Navigate to "imagefield" in your blog entry and use “upload a new image” to upload your Flickr photo located your Desktop. Click Submit.
Step 6: To insert another photo within your blog entry, select your photo on Flickr. Click on the photo and select “All Sizes”. read more...

Striking Shaws Workers March in Central Square
Protesters marched through Central Square today on their way to the State House for a rally against recent cuts to health care benefits for Shaws warehouse workers.
The photo above shows striking workers outside CCTV following an earlier protest outside a Shaws Somerville branch in Twin Cities today. See more photos of the protesters outside CCTV.

Introduction to Developing a Social Media Strategy
On January 21, 2010, CCTV offered a workshop for Cambridge Nonprofits and City Departments, entitled "Introduction to Developing a Social Media Strategy for Cambridge Nonprofit Organizations."
Workshop details:
"This workshop is designed to help you develop a social media workflow for your organization. Topics include: how to develop a communications strategy, how to generate followers and stimulate discussion, how to create a social media identity, how to manage your time, and how to measure success. Examples will be presented at every stage to help you envision a successful strategy using social media tools."

Public Computers in Cambridge
Recently, I found this map of public computing facilities in Spokane County, Washington through the The Inland Northwest Community Access Network (TINCAN) website.
I thought we needed a map like this here in Cambridge, so I created a map of Public Computers in Cambridge using Map Builder.net. Most of the listings come from the City's Free Public Access to Computers document (PDF attached below).
If there's a public computer facility in Cambridge that's not on the list, please send me an email at colin (AT) cctvcambridge (DOT) org and I'll try to add it to the map.
