Public Hearing on Cable License Renewal

The City of Cambridge has scheduled a public hearing on the cable license renewal with Comcast on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in the Sullivan Chambers at City Hall. This is the LAST opportunity the public (YOU) will have to provide input and advocate for new equipment and continued operating support for CCTV, Cambridge Educational Access and City TV-8. You may come prepared to speak about the importance of public access in Cambridge, or just come to show your support, but please come! Intro to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for Non-Profit Organizations

Gain hands-on experience and become more comfortable with using social media services such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS. Technical aspects will be covered including how to incorporate social media into your organization's existing blog or website. Participants are encouraged to bring logos, photos, videos, and other media to use in setting up accounts for their organization. Familiarity with Macintosh computers suggested.
