To Alice Paul from Elizabeth
To Alice Paul from Elizabeth. Alice Paul was a fight for women's rights and the right vote for women was her life's long work. She was a very strong person. In 1920 women got the right to vote just like men. Alice Paul, was jailed and told to eat, but she didn't. They took her and they made her eat. Alice Paul, was very sick and she didn't give up. I want to Thank her for sacrificing so much so I can vote today. The young women in America need to know who Alice Paul was ,because it good to know where women got the right to vote. Alice Paul is my Hero ,because she was fearless about the rights of women. So look up Alice Paul on the web and learn about a great woman in history. Let's all make history ,together for all the women of the world.

A new, more clever tagging system
We've talked a lot about making better use of our content classification and tagging system and now we've gone and done it.
The principle of a good classification system is all about telling items apart from one another as well as grouping items together that have some relationship or commonality. The best classification system we (read: human kind) has ever developed is the Scientific Classification of Organisms that helps us determine what family, genus, and species a living creature belongs in based on common and ancestral traits of the organism themselves. It get's really technical, like whether the hairs of the fur of a species are hollow or solid, but it's all there and does a fantastic job of helping us sort life out. read more...

What is happening?
What is Happening?
I look around and see people
Disregarding each other’s mind, body, and soul.
Why are you so angry? Why the rage and revenge. It must end.
There is so much hate. Where is the love? I don’t see it.
People are afraid. Intimidation is so wrong.
There is too much harm, hurt, destruction. Where is the
conscience?
Who are your friends? Are they competitors, rivals?
We need to respect and honor each other.
There is so much loneliness, don’t you see them?
They need a companion. Try to be obedient, stop being so unruly.
We need good self-esteem, no doubt. Be proud.
We need assurance and faith that things will change.
Don’t be afraid, don’t be sad. There is hope.
The children need guidance. Don’t mislead them.
Compromise and learn self-control. Teach morals.
Practical, sensible, rational; isn’t there enough foolishness?
Encourage each other. Life is too short.
Be thankful. There is light beyond the darkness. read more...

RAPHAEL HOLOMAN-FRANKLIN SCAMMING VICTIM BLOG UPDATE
Scam artist Raphael Holoman-Franklin, who bilked several Cambridge residents out of thousands of dollars in 2008 via rent scams, is back in Cambridge. A victim's blog that was set up on the www.mybarackobama.com website (to mirror his own Obama blog there) has been taken down, no doubt at his request. A new blog for his scamming and theft victims has been put up again at:
http://holoman-franklin.blogspot.com/
Holoman-Franklin also feverishly flags Craigs List ads (which warn others about him) for removal. We have learned to include his name and our contact information at the beginning of the ad listing. These will stay on the internet after the ad expires or gets removed.
Please note also that one area victim, Clifford Truesdell, contacted and warned Holoman-Franklin's former employer, Trinity Church, in Boston. He received the following reply:
Dear Mr. Truesdell,
Thank you for this notice. It was sent to all our clergy.
We are grateful for your advice. read more...

How a group of elites have hijacked the U.S. economy and how the "Berlin Wall Effect" could get it back to all of us again.
Whether a Republican from Texas or an African American Democrat the decisions and structures of ruling and distributing " the spoils" are similar. The economy has been hijacked by elites who continually structure the resourses to satisfy their needs. The sub-prime mortgage melt down was a clear practical example of how this was done. The Rupublican branch of the elites came up with the plan and the Democrats continued it in the same manner. The result is the working poor are paying for the "bail out". Twenty (20) years ago the Berlin Wall was a symbol used for a peaceful change the parameters under which decisions were made. This program tells how that worked then.

Greek Festival in Cambridge
Dinner and Dancing with Helen and Constantine
Nobody goes away hungry from the Hellenic Festival at the Greek Orthodox Church of Saints Constantine and Helen at 14 Magazine Street. If the dinner is more than you can eat at one time, you can deal with that by dancing a lot.
“All the cooking is done by volunteers—they start coming in at least three weeks in advance to prepare everything,” says George G. He too is a volunteer at the church; he'd rather we didn’t use his last name. "You wouldn’t believe how many people it takes to put this festival on every year."
For the dancing, you don't need a partner; you don’t even have to know the steps, though you might want to watch for a few minutes first. Tip: If you don’t know a syrto from a kalamatiano, don’t start at the head of a line; go for the middle. read more...
